Eva Mae Alley White, 96, of Chesapeake, previously of Ansted died August 1, 2009 in Valley Center Nursing Home, South Charleston.

She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Chesapeake since 1973. She was a former member of Ansted Free Will Baptist Church.

She was the last surviving child of Howard and Sally Alley of Victor, WV
Also preceding her in death were husband Frank A. White, grandchildren Robert Frank White and Andrew R. White.


Surviving Are: Sons William H. White of Richmond, KY, David E. White (wife: Jo) of Westerville, OH, and Stan White (wife: Shirley) of Cross Lanes, WV.

Grandchildren: Phyllis Sellards (Ken), William H. White Jr., Bryan White (Susan), Todd White (Roberta), Cathy White (widow of Robert), and Christina White.
Great Grandchildren: David White, Sam White, Aaron White, Zachary White, Shelby White, Madison White, and Gabriel Sellards
Several nieces and nephews and many faithful friends, and especially the Rev. Daniel Kelly and his wife Barbara.

One of the hightlights of Eva’s life was her Sunday School attendance. She would proudly wear her pins that signified her faithful attendance over the years. Her life reflected the strong faith in God.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday August 4, 2009 at First Free Will Baptist Church, Chesapeake with Pastor Daniel Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in West Lake Cemetery, Ansted
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday August 3, 2009 at the Funeral Home.
