Douglas James “Dougie” Dotson, Jr., 32, of Joe’s Creek died July 26, 2009 in Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

He was a Loving Son and Father.

He was preceded in death by Grandparents: Howard and Susan Dotson,

Ex-wife: Melissa Whitehead Dotson, And Sons: Hunter and Noah Dotson all of Cabin Creek, Daughters: Tiffany Dotson of Cabin Creek and Iana Dotson of Summersville, Father: Douglas James Sr. of Joe’s Creek, Mother: Sheila Dotson of Marmet, Sister: Betty Jo Noel (Rodney Kiger) of Muncy, IN and Brother: Christopher Dotson (Danielle Cook) of Joe’s Creek


Funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday July 31, 2009 at Peytona Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Hartman officiating. Burial will follow in Dotson Family Cemetery, Left Hand Fork, Joe’s Creek. Friends may call beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Walker Hollow, Nellis home of his Aunt Elizabeth Stringer and Thursday beginning at 6 p.m. at the Peytona Southern Baptist Church. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
