Uncle Rick, I'm sorry we lost touch over the years. Growing up, I would look forward to our family gatherings when everyone would come back home. I loved seeing you. I will always cherish those memories. You and my mom shared the beast known as diabetes and I know it was a constant, lifelong battle. I hope you're finally at peace with no more pain or worries.
